Horses place significant demands on their bodies through training, competition, transport, groundwork, ridden work, and general athletic performance. These physical stresses can contribute to muscle tension, soreness, stiffness, reduced performance, behavioural changes, and injury over time. Our goal is to support each horse holistically, focusing not only on symptoms, but on comfort, mobility, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on the body to support circulation, reduce pain and inflammation, improve nerve and muscle function, and encourage the body’s natural healing responses. Bowen Therapy complements this by gently releasing muscular and fascial tension while supporting relaxation, posture, and movement patterns.

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine can further support the body internally through carefully selected herbal formulations tailored to the individual horse’s constitution and condition. Chinese herbs may be used alongside acupuncture and conventional veterinary care to assist with chronic conditions, recovery, immune support, digestive health, respiratory concerns, and overall vitality.

Together, these therapies can form a comprehensive and compassionate approach to equine health and performance care.
