Acupuncture and Bowen Therapy for Agility and Sporting Dogs

Agility dogs place enormous demands on their bodies through repetitive jumping, sharp turns, acceleration, landing impact, and high-intensity training. Over time, these physical stresses can contribute to muscle tension, joint strain, soft tissue injuries, reduced flexibility, and compensatory movement patterns.

By combining acupuncture and Bowen Therapy, we aim to support both the structural and neurological aspects of performance and recovery. Acupuncture helps stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation and pain, support nerve and muscle function, and encourage healing, while Bowen Therapy focuses on releasing soft tissue tension, improving body balance, relaxation, and movement patterns.

This integrative approach can help maintain peak performance while also supporting injury prevention, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
